Jade and Shay Kickin' It By The Pool

Some of the pond flowers are starting to bloom.

We cleaned up that old engine and gave it a little paint.

The Front End Had To Come Out!

After a long look at the suspension we decided to take it out to get a better look at it.
With about 120K miles on the car and all of the rubber seals rotted out, it should be easier to rebuild on the bench and out of the car.

This is one heavy project.

Dannette stopped by to lend a hand and see how everything was going.

Now that everything is out of the way I should be able to get this engine bay cleaned out and painted.

Piston Fun

We have pulled the front end apart to start preparing the engine compartment for paint.

This is the new 351 W block that we will be using to build a 408 strocker motor.
This is the stroker crank. It is made be "Eagle"

Everything Comes Out!

This week we took everything out of the Mustang. Most everything looked good. We found some rust in the front floor pans that need some attention, but nothing we can't handle.

Mother's Day Morning

Springtime with the Snows

Our Pool is now finished! And all the planting around the house has begun. Here are some of the plants around the pool and house!

Tanner's Prom

Tanner's Prom. He took Courtney, Here are pictures of them in there formals.

For our prom day date, all the guys met that morning and got t-shirts and bandanas for the girls and themselves, which we decorated with our team names. Ours was the "Wilde Snowmen". because Courtney's last name is Wilde, and mine is Snow.

Some of the activites we had to do for our day date scavenger hunt included buying treats at Wal-mart, going to a cemetary, and going to savers to try on matching clothes. (shown in the picture above.)

Our New Old Mustang!

While we were in California we picked up Ron's new obsession! His new 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. Him and Papa started working on it when he was a teenager.

Shay was steering up the trailer, It is super gross in there! I would be making that face too! and the sun was in her eyes.
Here it is all cleaned off and getting worked on! But never fear, there should be plenty more posts of this family treat!
